WoD: FRIDAY 07-10-11

Complete as many rounds and reps as you can in 20 minutes of:
5 knees 2 elbows
10 ring dips
15 box jumps (60/45cm, lock out on box)

Our memerships are currently made up largely of men. While these two just look like trouble, we would love to see more women engage in CrossFit because of the profound benefits it has for them. All you have to do is look around at the ladies currently training here. So what are you ladies going to do to recruit more ladies?

Snatch segment deadlift (1”, knee, thigh, finish)

Snatch push press + 0HS

WoD: THURSDAY 03-02-11

Conventional Deadlift

  • 5-5-3-3-2-2-1-1

Then

As fast as possible complete 5 rounds of:

  • 250m row
  • 25 K2E  -  [30 knee2chest or 35 knee tucks]

The deadlift is a great functional exercise. It mimics the motor patterns found in an everyday movement and has the capacity to develop lower limb, hip and low back strength simultaneously, if performed correctly. You will not be permitted to increase the load across sets if you have not shown the capacity to maintain a neutral spine, period.
