At CrossFit Jozi we employ unconventional methods to obtain extraordinary results, but those results will only be realised through diligent efforts on your behalf. There are no shortcuts, excuses or second chances. A CrossFit workout may be the hardest thing you ever do, therefore you have to give 100% of what you have, all the time and every time.
That does not mean we are only elite athletes. In CrossFit we believe that the needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree and not by kind (CrossFit Inc). We are looking for people dedicating to improving themselves in every manner. People who will contribute to the positive, friendly and motivating environment we strive to foster here at CrossFit Jozi. Free CrossFit Intro
The first step to getting involved is to take a FREE one hour introductory session. These sessions take place every fortnight on Saturdays at 09h00. Places on this session are STRICTLY RESERVED by prior booking. During this session we will discuss your goals, expectations and explain CrossFit’s methods before taking you through a CrossFit workout that will be scaled to your abilities.

CFJ On-Ramp Class
The next step is joining the ‘CFJ On-Ramp to CrossFit’ program. The On-Ramp program teaches you the fundamental movements and introduces you to our training methods. This prepares you for a safe and effective entry in to our regular CrossFit classes. There are 6 sessions conducted over 2 weeks. All 6 sessions must be attended or made up via a 60 minute private coaching session. This is a prerequisite to joining the regular group classes.

Private CrossFit Coaching
If the On-Ramp class is not possible for your schedule or you have missed the beginning of an On-Ramp and would like to begin immediately you can sign up for 6 private coaching sessions. This option is recommended for individuals who have been sedentary for a long period of time or have specific health limitations.
Test Out
If you have been doing CrossFit for a while and are confident in performing basic gymnastics movements, Olympic lifts and power lifts you can request to test out of the On-Ramp or private coaching options. You will need to pass a skills testing session with one of our coaches before gaining access to the regular group sessions. Contact us to schedule a time for the skills test. Please understand that we have extremely high standards, so if you are unsure about your ability to pass the skills test then we encourage you take advantage of our On-Ramp class.
Onwards and Upwards!
Once you have graduated from our introductory procedures you are welcome to attend any classes that suit your schedule. We do not have beginner through to advanced classes. CrossFit workouts are completely scaleable and each athlete benefits from the dynamic environment that it promotes.
