Lisa joined CrossFit Jozi in 2012, “I drove past the CrossFit Jozi sign most days, and after reading an article about what CrossFit was about, I joined the trial class.  At the time, it was one of the toughest things I’d done, but I had such a good time doing it that I signed up for more.”

Lisa has always been active, she was a ballet dancer, played hockey and ran track and cross-country events at school but found in CrossFit a challenge she’d never experienced before.  Lisa loves how the increase in physical capability that CrossFit provides, translates into a positive outlook on life and the ability to succeed in anything you care to apply yourself to. Sharing these lessons and being able to contribute towards a member’s journey into a strong, confident athlete is what makes her excited about coaching.

Lisa’s favourite part of CrossFit is the Olympic lifts and spends most Saturdays with the Barbell Club working on the endless technicalities of the movements.
